Chanatown

Unless proven otherwise, this will be another blog that I’ll fail to update after a week or so.

About

Did you mean: Chinatown

Contrary to popular belief, Chanatown is a personal blog and not a place where you’ll find lots of Chinese restaurants and tourist gift shops. Chanatown is written and maintained by me, DC (all names used in my blog will be in the form of initials), a teacher by trade, with interests in sports, consumer electronics, and cooking among others. I’ll use this blog to write about what comes to mind, and what I find useful and potentially of interest to you, the reader. I appreciate the simplicity of Twitter, so my posts may be short. However, I usually find that I have more to say than just a quick sentence. The key is finding the time to write and putting exactly what I’m thinking into words. As mentioned in my early posts, with my new gadget (an iPhone 3G) and the WordPress native app, we’ll see if I’m inspired to write on a more regular basis and keep Chanatown from becoming yet another ghost blog.

ADD (8/19/08): A little over 2 weeks into this blog, and I find myself hooked on writing. I have to admit that I find it entertaining to monitor my stats every now and then, and it’s flattering to see that people are checking out the posts. I’ve read that content is king, so I’ll do the best I can to continue writing useful posts. Keep on reading!

ADD (10/13/08): I’ve slowed my posting pace, but will continue to add relevant posts as they come up. I would like to expand to include entries on cooking, a growing favorite pastime of mine. In addition, I chose to go with a different theme for awhile. Mistylook, I’ll never forget ya.

If you need to reach me for any reason, write a quick message in the big white box below. Thanks!
